Key Competencies:
Must-haves
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
· Direct sales experience with major companies in engineering, technology, chemistry, pharma, or biotech industries
· B2B solution sales experience
· Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Proven ability to build trust-based customer relationships
· Ability to communicate professionally in English (email and global collaboration)
Nice-to-haves
· Academic background or strong technical understanding in science and technology
· Experience working with major domestic enterprises or related value chains
· Sales experience targeting corporate R&D organizations
· Experience working in a global company with strong Ethics and D&I standards
· Experience selling data, analytics, or consulting solutions
· Understanding of Korean industry and research trends across engineering, technology, chemistry, pharma, and biotech

An Ideal Candidate:
Strategic Account Management & Revenue Growth
· Develop and execute Account Plans for major strategic accounts in Korea
· Lead regular Executive and Operational Business Reviews
· Analyze customer organizational structures and R&D needs
· Drive adoption and engagement of existing solutions
· Manage pipeline, forecasting, and achieve revenue targets
Value-Based B2B Solution Sales
· Propose data-, analytics-, and content-based B2B solutions
· Lead the full sales cycle (opportunity identification → proposal → negotiation → closing)
· Build relationships with key stakeholders including R&D, engineering, procurement, and senior management
· Apply value-selling strategies focused on solving customer challenges
· Manage contract renewals and retention for strategic accounts
· Drive upsell and cross-sell of R&D solutions
· Identify new opportunities by targeting new business units
· Build new pipelines and define territory strategies
· Provide industry and technology insights to generate new demand
Internal & Global Collaboration
· Collaborate closely with Global Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams
· Apply global value-selling frameworks and best practices
· Partner with Customer Success teams to enhance usage and retention
