The organization partners with leading global brands to deliver data-driven consulting, digital media, and technology solutions. The Korean branch office plays a strategic role within the APAC and global organization, collaborating closely with regional and global teams to drive data-led growth initiatives and client success.

Position Overview
The Account Director, Data Consultancy is responsible for leading key client relationships and overseeing the strategic growth of assigned data consultancy accounts. This role acts as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business objectives into data-driven strategies while ensuring high-quality project delivery through close collaboration with internal data, technology, and media teams. The position requires strong client leadership, commercial ownership, and the ability to operate within a global and regional matrix structure.
Key Competencies:
Main Responsibilities
1. Account & Revenue Ownership
- Own and lead assigned data consultancy accounts, driving long-term growth
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and develop commercial proposals
- Define scope, commercials, and delivery frameworks for new initiatives
- Lead or support new business pitches when required
2. Client Leadership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders
- Provide strategic points of view and data-driven recommendations
- Translate client business objectives into structured data strategies and actionable KPIs
- Drive adoption of data services and solutions on the client side
3. Data Consultancy Project Oversight
- Oversee the delivery of data consultancy projects across analytics, BI, Martech, and data science
- Work closely with internal data specialists, engineers, and technical teams
- Ensure consistent quality, timelines, and outcomes across all projects
4. Team & Stakeholder Management
- Plan and manage account team resources to support project workloads
- Support the development and performance of team members
- Ensure alignment with regional and global processes
- Act as a key collaboration hub between clients and internal specialist teams
An Ideal Candidate:
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 8 years of experience in digital media, data, or related fields
· At least 2 years of people management experience
· Fluent in both English and Korean (verbal and written)
· Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience working alongside data specialists
· Solid understanding of digital channels and data platforms
(e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Cloud, Tableau, Paid Media)
· Proven ability to translate business objectives into structured data strategies
· Experience working with regional or global stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder client accounts
· Experience leading account teams across multiple regions or time zones
· Working knowledge of SQL is plus
· Background in data consultancy or Martech related projects
