We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining our internal cloud platform, providing a self-service experience for our development teams, and ensuring our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

An Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in cloud engineering with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure services, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools, with a preference for Terraform. A deep understanding of networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, DNS, and firewalls is required, along with proficiency in scripting or programming languages including Python, Bash, or Go. The role demands a solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and certification from a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable. The candidate should be capable of analyzing complex environments to ensure timely delivery, possess strong debugging and problem-determination skills, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Key Competencies:

The role involves developing automation solutions to streamline processes, including creating scripts or programs that automatically execute specific tasks on computer systems. Responsibilities include monitoring the performance of cloud computing systems in real time to ensure high availability and optimal performance, prioritizing and resolving tickets generated by automated alerts related to server, network, and storage issues, and performing deep root-cause analysis to identify failure patterns and implement long-term solutions. The engineer will develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and modules using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate cloud resource provisioning and management, as well as build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions to automate application build, test, and deployment processes. The role also includes implementing and managing containerized environments using Docker and orchestrating them with Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, AKS, or GKE. Acting as a technical partner to development teams, the engineer will provide guidance, documentation, and tooling to reduce operational overhead and accelerate delivery, while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and global teams to ensure continuous and reliable service delivery.
