About Company:

Founded in 1955 Company began as a modest passenger transportation company. However, in the 1970s, the family business lost its main contract. With the need to diversify the business, Owner roped in his eldest son, Group’s current Executive Chairman. This marked the start of the company’s venture into the cargo transportation business, which subsequently grew to include extended supply chain and logistics services such as warehousing and freight management.

An Ideal Candidate:

 •           MBA or Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or related field.

•           8–15 years of experience in HR operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

•           Strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR compliances.

•           Experience managing multi-location HR operations in India.

•           Hands-on experience with payroll processing and HRIS tools.

•           Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

•           Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

•           Experience in managing HR operations in a mid-to-large size organization.

•           Exposure to digital HR transformation tools and process automation.

•           Ability to travel as required across company locations. 

Key Competencies:

Key Responsibilities:

1.HR Operations & Administration

Oversee all HR operations across multiple locations in India.

Manage HR processes including onboarding, employee records, HRIS, exit formalities, and employee lifecycle management.

Ensure timely execution and accuracy of employee letters, documentation, and reports.

 2. Payroll Management

Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing in coordination with finance and payroll vendors.

Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs including attendance, leave, reimbursements, and deductions.

Handle full & final settlements and oversee compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.

 3. Statutory Compliance

Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable labor laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.) across all states of operation.

Liaise with legal counsel and government authorities as needed.

Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation.

 4. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Collaborate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.

Drive recruitment activities including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring across functions and levels.

Develop relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, and other sourcing channels.

 5. Performance Management

Drive the performance appraisal process and help align employee goals with business objectives.

Guide managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development.

 6. Employee Engagement & Relations

Promote a positive and productive work environment through various employee engagement initiatives.

Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

Conduct regular HR connect sessions across locations.

 7. HR Strategy & Policy Implementation

Implement and update HR policies and SOPs in line with business needs and legal requirements.

Partner with leadership to support organizational development and change management initiatives.
