Position:- Hot Runner Production Mechanical Designer
Job Location :-Mahindra World City, Chennai
Experience:- 2+ years’ experience in Mechanical/Mold Design preferred

Job Description:
Responsible for the design and detailing of hot runners in a production environment with a focus on 100% quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineer an entire hot runner from concept to release for all common molds using CAD and BaaN with a high level of attention to detail.
- Follow well-established design rules and practices.
- Work with manufacturing to help resolve production issues.
- Maintain thorough job file documentation.
- Check others’ work and make specific recommendations for fixes as well as improvements.
- Demonstrate and maintain required quality, efficiency and on-time requirements.

Technical/Professional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Entry-level 3D solid CAD experience.
- Ability to organize a sequence of tasks on a project to meet commitment dates.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts.
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluids and stress analysis (mechanical skills).
Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering required (or equivalent job-related experience)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Mold Design with relavent experience.
Candidates should have strong working knowledge of Unigraphics NX, Mechanical CAD, or proficiency in any mechanical design software.
