An Ideal Candidate:

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and shipped system-level software before, understands what it takes to run safely on customer machines, and is excited to define engineering standards from day one.

Key Competencies:

Own the end-to-end design and evolution of the endpoint agent, including sensors, on-device logic, local actions, buffering, and secure communication.

 Lead and grow a high-caliber, senior engineering team across Windows, macOS, and Linux.

 Set and enforce engineering excellence standards—code quality, performance discipline, testing rigor, and operational readiness.

 Define and manage strict performance and reliability budgets (CPU, memory, disk, battery, startup impact).

 Drive safe and scalable integration of third-party security engines into the agent pipeline.

 Partner closely with Backend, Detection, and Product teams to define event contracts, data ownership, and on-device vs. off-device responsibilities.
