An Ideal Candidate:

Responsible for Administration of Geoscience Data Agreements use rights to minimize the risk of exposure on use of Data and information.


  • Interfacing with Upstream & LCS geoscience customers to administer and seismic and well data license and agreements.
  • See Subsurface Data in Scope below
  • Verification of incoming Deliverables against the Agreement
  • Confirmation of use rights to incoming and outgoing Data
  • Confirm incoming data is associated with the appropriate transaction record
  • Confirmation of goods received, and verification of invoice rates are consistent with the Agreement to process invoices in timely manner
  • Monitor data delivery expected timings
  • Follow up / escalation with vendor where required
  • Coordinate release of data to outside parties (governments, academia, and industry). 
  • Ensures contract administration transaction records are created, current, and accurate in system of records in accordance with controls and audit
  • Serve as focal point of contact for the data technicians, business lines, Processing, SIM loading and geodetics, and the vendor to resolve misalignments and problem data
  • Works with Licensing & Procurement to handle annual transactions
  • Closely monitor receipt of the data and engage vendor to ensure successful delivery
