Our client operates fourteen manufacturing facilities producing power plant equipment and sugar-related products. Its Power Transmission Business, established in Mysore in 1976, specializes in high-speed high-power gearboxes having an installation base of 12000+ gearboxes, spanning over 80+ countries and catering to diverse applications & industry segments.

An Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for marketing and sales in designated domestic territories, focusing on enquiry generation, business leads, brand promotion, and customer relationship management. This role involves strategy formulation and developing unique value propositions in consultation with the Head of Marketing, ensuring achievement of booking targets, profitability, and designated turnover

Key Competencies:

1.Generate new leads and enquiries from existing and new clientele.

2.Prepare short-term and long-term business forecasts and turnover projections.

3.Act as the customer champion, providing perceptive customer insights using customer data and competitor research to drive strategic development.

4.Prepare tailor-made proposals capturing technical and commercial details aligned with customer expectations.

5.Negotiate and conclude contracts in adherence to company sales policies.

6.Develop budgets and management reports.

7.Create tailor-made marketing presentations to meet specific customer needs.

8.Develop and execute marketing plans in consultation with the Head of Marketing.

9.Minimum 10 years of experience in the capital goods industry. Proven experience handling end-customers for Engineered-To-Order products, preferably rotary equipment (e.g., gears, pumps, compressors, generators, couplings, turbines).

10.Demonstrated track record of successfully prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
