An Ideal Candidate:

Core Technical Skills (Must Have)

• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including:
  • DAX
  • Data modeling and relationships
  • Performance optimization techniques
• Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, refresh, gateways, security).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, especially:
  • Power Query (data extraction, transformation, merging)

Key Competencies:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Build and optimize semantic data models using best‑practice dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas).
• Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns to support business logic, KPIs, and advanced analytics.
• Use Excel Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and validation prior to loading into Power BI.
• Manage and publish datasets, reports, and dashboards within Power BI Service, including:
  • Workspace management
  • Dataset refresh scheduling
  • Gateway configuration
  • Report subscriptions
• Implement Row‑Level Security (RLS) and follow data governance and security best practices.
