An Ideal Candidate:
An Ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhaul of industrial compressors (reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal types). Ensures reliable and efficient operation of compressed air / gas systems at client sites and workshops.
Key Competencies:
Installation & Commissioning
- Installation and mechanical erection of compressors
- Alignment of compressor–motor coupling (laser/dial method)
- Pre-commissioning checks (lubrication, cooling, safety systems)
- Parameter setting and performance verification
- Leak testing and pressure testing
- Trial run support and vibration monitoring
Maintenance & Overhauling
- Preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Oil system inspection & flushing
- Cooler and intercooler cleaning
Troubleshooting
- High discharge temperature analysis
- Low pressure / low-capacity diagnosis
- Excessive vibration issues
- Motor-compressor misalignment issues
Technical Knowledge Required:
- Working principles of various compressor types
- Air & gas compression thermodynamics
- Lubrication systems
- Cooling systems (air-cooled / water-cooled)
- Vibration analysis basics
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- P&ID reading capability
