An Ideal Candidate:
▪ MBA in Marketing.
▪ 3+ years of experience in a business development role within the consulting industry, specifically
▪ working with non-IT sector companies, preferably within pharmaceutical or biotechnology
▪ sectors.
▪ Has the ability to drive outbound sales initiatives through out-of-box ideas and thinking.
▪ Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
▪ Proven track record of success in business development and sales in B2B industry.
▪ Has ability to pitch services (or projects), such as competitive intelligence (CI) projects, custom / consulting projects to new clients.
▪ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
▪ Experience with Sales Funnel Management.
Key Competencies:
Lead Generation and Business Development:
▪ Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
▪ Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
▪ Represent Roots Analysis at industry events, conferences, and meetings
▪ Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
Client Relationship Management:
▪ Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and offering customized solutions.
▪ Negotiate with clients regarding contract terms, pricing, and service delivery.
▪ Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
▪ Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients.
Sales Strategy and Analysis:
▪ Develop and maintain a strong understanding of company's services and value proposition.
▪ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies.
▪ Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
