ROLE OVERVIEW

You will join the Finance IT Dublin team which is part of Finance IT EMEA team under Information Technology & Security Department (ITSD ). Finance IT delivers IT solutions and services to all EMEA legal entities and branches. Book Of Work comprises of strategic platform architecture and regulatory initiatives.
This is a Technology Delivery Manager (TDM) role within Information Technology Security Department (ITSD) workstream to program manage rollout of EMEA e-invoicing VAT regulatory program using a SAAS vendor product called Pagero. The TDM will lead end-to-end delivery, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful implementation, regulatory compliance and integration with finance and ERP systems. The role is accountable for delivery governance, risk management and business readiness across multiple stakeholders. The role requires senior technical thought and delivery leadership.
This Technology Delivery Manager role ensures that EMEA e-invoicing VAT regulatory program rollout meets regulatory deadline articulated for each country/region by their respective regulators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*Programme Leadership :Develop and implement comprehensive project plans within the Finance IT department and alignment with our client's EMEA e-invoicing VAT program roadmap.
*Project Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project plans, identifying resources within Finance IT and assigning responsibilities to ensure project outcomes are delivered within scope, agreed timelines and budget. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies effectively.
*Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence diverse stakeholders, including business areas, IT senior management, translating technical concepts into non-technical language to ensure seamless alignment of business and IT imperatives.
*Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams (including internal staff, external partners, and vendors) to achieve project objectives and foster a high-performing culture.
*Vendor Management : Manage vendor deliverables, SLAs, dependencies and escalation paths. Challenge vendor assumptions, timelines and solution design where required.
*Business & Technology Alignment : Translate regulatory and business requirements into deliverable technical outcomes. Coordinate across Finance, Tax, IT, ERP, Security and compliance teams for end-to-end delivery. Ensure integrations with ERP/finance systems (Oracle) are delivered to agreed standards.
*Regulatory & Compliance Delivery : Ensure solution design and implementation align with VAT and e-invoicing regulatory requirements.
*Governance & Reporting: Prepare and present regular, high-quality updates and reports on project status, risks, and performance metrics to Senior stakeholders, and relevant governance committees.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

*Proven Expertise: Proven experience as a Technology Delivery Manager / IT Project or Programme manager.
*Project Management: Strong end-to-end project and programme management skills, familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and hybrid forms.
*Technical Skills : Hands-on delivery of SaaS implementation ideally in Finance or Tax domains. Strong understanding of systems integration (API's, data flows, ERP connectivity)
*Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
*Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
*Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project/time management abilities.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

*Experience delivering e-invoicing and/or VAT technology solutions.
*Familiarity with VAT invoicing or tax reporting systems.
*Experience working in regulated or multi-country environments.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

* Ideally A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Mathematics
