ROLE OVERVIEW

*We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Graphics Engineer to play a pivotal role in advancing our next-generation WebGPU technology initiatives.
*This is a hands-on engineering position focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing high-performance rendering solutions for performance-critical applications, with an immediate emphasis on innovative mini-game experiences.
*As a key technical contributor, you will help shape the future direction of our graphics technology stack, driving both research and implementation efforts that push the boundaries of real-time rendering on web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
*You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge graphics research and practical product development, transforming experimental concepts into scalable, production-ready solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive WebGPU Innovation
*Design, implement, and optimize WebGPU-based rendering systems for high-performance, graphics-intensive applications.
*Champion the adoption and integration of WebGPU capabilities across strategic projects and products.
*Explore emerging graphics techniques and help define best practices for next-generation web rendering.

Lead Research & Development Initiatives
*Identify technical opportunities and challenges, proposing innovative research projects and practical solutions.
*Develop proof-of-concept applications and prototypes that demonstrate new capabilities and validate technical approaches.
*Translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready implementations.
Optimize Performance
*Conduct in-depth profiling, performance analysis, and optimization of rendering pipelines and graphics workloads.
*Improve GPU and CPU utilization, memory efficiency, and overall rendering performance across platforms.
*Solve complex technical challenges related to real-time graphics, game engines, and interactive experiences.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration
*Provide technical guidance and share expertise with engineering teams and stakeholders.
*Communicate research findings, architectural decisions, and performance insights clearly and effectively.
*Collaborate across disciplines to ensure successful delivery of projects and technical initiatives.

Stay at the Forefront of Graphics Technology
*Keep current with advancements in WebGPU, Vulkan, GPU programming, real-time rendering, and graphics research.
*Engage with the wider graphics community through conferences, publications, and industry events.
*Represent the organization at technical conferences, exhibitions, customer engagements, and partner meetings as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Ideally Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
*Relevant professional experience in graphics programming, game development, or real-time rendering.
*Strong C++ programming skills with a proven ability to build high-performance systems.
*Hands-on experience with Vulkan and modern graphics APIs.
*Experience developing or extending game engines, with Unity experience highly preferred.
*Strong understanding of graphics pipelines, shader programming, GPU architectures, and rendering techniques.
*Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies and languages:

oJavaScript
oGLSL
oWGSL
*Demonstrated ability to transform technical specifications and research concepts into robust software solutions.
*Strong analytical and debugging skills with a track record of solving complex technical challenges.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
*Experience applying computer graphics research and academic insights to real-world products or industrial applications.
*Passion for innovation and exploring emerging technologies in graphics and interactive experiences.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Ideally Master's degree in Computer Graphics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
*Direct experience developing with WebGPU.
*Experience building 3D applications, games, or interactive experiences across desktop, mobile, and web platforms.
*Contributions to graphics-related research, open-source projects, technical publications, or industry presentations.
*Experience with advanced rendering techniques, GPU optimization, or graphics middleware development.
*Recognition through awards, competitions, hackathons, or notable achievements in graphics programming, computer science, or software engineering.
