As the Lead of Data Platforms, you will spearhead the design, delivery and ongoing operation of the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH) - a vital platform that powers advanced analytics and business intelligence. You will lead a talented team of Platform Engineers, Data Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Platform Analysts to create a secure, scalable, and user-centric data environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Build: Lead the creation and operation of the EDH, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a collaborative team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Strategic Roadmap: Define and implement the evolution of the platform, incorporating new technologies like MS Fabric and Azure DevOps.
Data Governance: Ensure platform operations align with data governance, security protocols, and regulatory standards.
Lifecycle Management: Oversee platform lifecycle management, incident response, and environment provisioning.
Automation Champion: Drive automation of platform operations, enhancing efficiency with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
User Experience: Gather feedback and continuously improve platform services and user satisfaction.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

- A minimum of 8 years' experience in platform engineering, cloud operations, or data infrastructure within complex environments.
- Proven expertise in leading technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud technologies, data integration patterns, and security measures.
- Familiarity with Data Management Standards and experience in data governance and compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills to influence at all levels.
- A user-centric approach to platform design, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
- Relevant qualifications in IT, computer science, cloud engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with vendor management and service delivery in a regulated environment is a plus!
