Lead Facility Engineer (Electrical) - Data Center

Digital Infrastructure Company that develops, builds and operates digital networks and data centre assets in their search for Lead Facility Engineer (Electrical) that will be in Batam work of setting

• 5+ years of experience in facilities or operations management
• Fluent and able to communicate in English
• Knowledge of electrical or mechanical trade background or degree
• Ability to develop and review Standard of Operations Procedure, Method of Procedure, Emergency of Operations Procedure, Incident Reports, Root Cause Analysis reports, CAPEX/OPEX budget forecast, asset management
• Knowledge of menage MEP, Security, ICT related Change Management
• Experienced in managing technicians, vendors, contractors, setting and managing critical metrics, negotiating quotations and contracts.
• Experienced of using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, Customer Portals, BMS/DCIM
• Ability to effectively manage internal and external customers

• Lead daily data centre electrical operations (MV/LV systems, RMU, generators, busduct, grounding).
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure uptime and system reliability.
• Create and maintain SOP/SMEOP for electrical activities.
• Monitor system health, alarms, and respond to abnormalities.
• Perform RCA for electrical incidents and power failures.
• Supervise technicians, manage tasks, and enforce Change Management and PTW processes.
• Support audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance.
• Lead contractors during PPM, shutdowns, load transfers, and commissioning tests.
• Coordinate on project upgrades, expansions, and system integration.
• Review SLDs, design drawings, and commissioning documents.
• Maintain mission-critical MEP uptime and SLA performance.
• Prepare reports (operations, asset health, energy usage, PUE).
• Keep accurate records of switching, maintenance, incidents, and tests.
