Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager - Regulatory - banking

Our client is a global bank and they are looking for a Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager - Regulatory to join their team.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on business knowledge on Corporate and Investment banking middle office, Back Office Trade Processing, Settlement & Accounting Chains – FX, Rates, Structured Deposits, Fixed income products, Equities, Equity derivatives is a MUST.
• Strong analytical skills with hands on technical knowledge in programming and data analysis and prior IT implementation experience with large investment banks is a MUST.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Macro is a good to have
• Strong understanding of the front to back booking chain on Booking, Validation, Confirmation, Settlements, Accounting, Reconciliations, PNL and Risk calculations is preferred
• Strong Project Management skillset and expertise in delivering large transformation programs
• Ability to manage change and complexity with confidence and is a Strong team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel & Power point)

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage the production platform
• Leveraging software engineering to eliminate operational work via automation
• Optimizing system architecture to maintain operational efficiency
• Conducting thorough but blameless post-mortems to help guide the evolution of the platform
• Develop and maintain an expansive library of automatons and alpha models
• Develop and maintain monitoring and production tools used in the trading platform
• Develop and maintain the simulation tools and back testing environment used to test and validate strategies
• Contribute to the enforcement of adequate risk filters for each automaton to prevent abnormal behaviour.
• Organize and monitor the orderly production of automatons during trading hours.
• Monitor, investigate, and improve performances of trading engines.
• Contribute to the research and design of optimal setup for each set of strategies.
• Coordinate and test infrastructure changes, as implemented by the Group IT teams.
• Make sure all developments satisfy local regulations.Responsible for delivering various APAC regulatory Projects, Regional & Local Initiatives to enhance reg reporting ecosystem for the bank.
• Must have strong functional knowledge of APAC regulatory landscape especially trade reporting
• Have strong functional knowledge of trade lifecycle for various investment banking across asset classes
• Engage in detailed studies, requirement gathering, solution definition and business analysis on the project scope
• Act as an interface between business stakeholder, internal teams, third party vendors, development team and APS teams
• Provide regular updates to project sponsors and business stakeholders, organize project steering meetings and issues meeting minutes
• Collaborate and follow up with development teams regionally/globally to establish IT Solutions and ensure timely delivery of the IT Solution
• Pre-empt and escalate any risks/issues to management/steering committees in a timely manner
