Our client is a leading global technology company operating a large-scale consumer platform. The team works in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment and focuses on driving user growth through digital marketing across Chinese channels

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of performance marketing experience, with a strong focus on driving measurable growth and lower‑funnel conversion through paid channels.
  • Hands‑on expertise with Chinese media platforms including WeChat, Douyin, Baidu, and Red, with deep understanding of best practices, technical nuances, ad products, and measurement capabilities within these ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing measurement, attribution models, optimization levers, and the ability to discuss technical concepts comfortably with analytics and product teams.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills, able to manage complex deliverables in fast‑paced environments.
  • Experience managing large performance marketing budgets with strong financial accountability.
  • Analytical skill set, including proficiency in Excel and/or SQL, and experience with Tableau or other BI tools for data interpretation and insight generation.
  • Ability to analyze and structure data, transforming insights into clear actions that support senior leadership decision‑making.
  • Experience in user acquisition and re‑engagement strategies, especially within mobile app environments.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and verbal).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Chinese Paid Channels: Manage WeChat, Baidu, Red, and Douyin. Own the strategy, roadmap, testing, and optimization to drive growth.
  • Data‑Driven Optimization: Analyze performance data, extract insights, and adjust strategies in real time.
  • Channel Mix Planning: Understand how Chinese channels fit within the global media mix and benchmark performance against global channels.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with APAC Strategy & Investment, Brand, BD, and Ops to align marketing and business goals, and support regular reporting cycles.
  • Partner Management: Oversee media buying partners and agencies; brief and challenge plans; ensure strong performance delivery.
  • Measurement & Attribution: Work with Analytics and Marketing teams to ensure accurate measurement and attribution across all paid channels.
