Investment Bankers (IPO/ECM)
Our client, a leading Chinese financial services group with strong capabilities in investment banking, securities, and capital markets is currently expanding and seeking high‑caliber talent with strong China markets exposure.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–10 years of investment banking, ECM, or corporate finance experience (Senior Analyst to VP level).
- Experience from international investment banks, or reputable Chinese securities firms is preferred.
- Mandatory: Solid exposure to Hong Kong / China capital markets and familiarity with IPO execution.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment with strong teamwork and commitment.
Key Responsibilities
1. IPO Execution & ECM
- Support end‑to‑end execution of Hong Kong IPOs, including due diligence, regulatory submissions, sponsor work, and deal marketing.
- Prepare offering documents, listing applications, research materials, and investor presentation materials.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, regulators (HKEX, SFC), auditors, legal counsel, and issuers.
- Assist in equity financing activities including placements, rights issues, and follow‑on offerings.
2. Corporate Finance Advisory
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation (comps, DCF, precedent transactions), and industry research.
- Build and maintain financial models and transaction materials (teasers, IMs, pitchbooks).
- Support M&A execution, strategic advisory, and cross‑border corporate finance projects.
3. Client & Project Management
- Manage day‑to‑day communication with clients, professional parties, and internal departments.
- Prepare client proposals and assist senior bankers in deal origination and business development.
