Our client is a well-known company in HK and they are looking for a Data Centre Site Manager to cope with their business.

Key Responsibilities

-         E&M Operations & Maintenance

o  Lead the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical E&M systems, including UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH units, fire services, and building management systems.

-         Data Centre Facility Management

o  Ensure continuous availability, reliability, and performance of data centre infrastructure through effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

-         Site Management & Leadership

o  Manage daily site operations, supervise engineering teams and subcontractors, allocate resources, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

-         Project & Change Management

o  Plan, coordinate, and execute facility upgrades, fit-out works, capacity expansion projects, and maintenance activities while minimizing operational risks and service disruptions.

-         Compliance, Safety & Reporting

o  Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, electrical safety requirements, REW licence obligations, and customer SLA commitments; prepare operational reports, incident investigations, and performance reviews.

Requirements

-         Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline

-         Minimum 8–10 years of experience in E&M engineering, facilities management, or mission-critical environments, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or site management role within a data centre.

-         Strong knowledge of critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems, UPS, generators, cooling systems, fire protection systems, and redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N, etc.).

-         Holder of a valid Registered Electrical Worker (REW) Licence (Grade H, B, or C preferred) with sound knowledge of local electrical regulations and safety practices.

-         Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage vendors and contractors, handle emergencies, and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
