Full time (Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch)



Salary: £28,000 - £30,000



London based role.

Job Description



We are looking for a hands-on, self-motivated, organised team player to assist with the effective running of the Parts Store and Warehouse.


Day to day the successful candidate will report to the Parts Store Supervisor to select spare parts for the Dental and Hairdressing departments.



The role will also involve assisting the wider Logistics and Warehouse team as required.



Main duties and responsibilities



� Working with Goods-In to ensure all goods-in are efficiently received and accurately booked on the IT system


� Working with Goods-Out to ensure all dispatches are made on time, in full and correct and accurately booked on the IT system


� Identifying, investigating and correcting any discrepancies


� Liaising effectively with the Customer Service and Workshop teams


� Storing and rotating stock and goods as required


� Completing cycle counts accurately and on time


� Data entry using IT tools


� Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Parts Store Supervisor


� Keeping the Parts Storeroom clean, tidy and organised at all times


� Comply with Fire Safety, Health and Safety at Work, Manual Handling etc


� Covering various duties in the warehouse and parts storeroom as required


� Any other duties as required



Person Specification



Skills and abilities



� A level of physical strength, fitness and dexterity to lift heavy packages or work at elevated heights


� Good numeracy skills


� Excellent accuracy and attention to detail


� Computer literate with Intermediate Microsoft skills


� Excellent written, face to face and telephone communication skills, communicating on all levels


� Highly organised and efficient


� Good problem solving and analytical skills


� Ability to work effectively alone and with others as required


Knowledge and experience


� Hands-on experience


� Experience in working in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines


� Experience working in a Warehouse would be an advantage


� Experience using a stock management system for routine reporting and troubleshooting would be an advantage


� Awareness of Data Protection and Health and Safety regulations or willingness to learn


Education and qualifications


� Counterbalance fork truck license desirable or willingness to learn
