Property Services Officer


Location: Stockton-on-Tees (office-based)
Contract: Temporary - 3 months initially (with potential to extend)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience


About the Role


We're looking for a capable and customer-focused Property Services Officer to support the delivery of an efficient repairs and voids service across a housing portfolio.


Working closely with the Property Services Manager and wider team, you'll play a key role in logging repairs, coordinating works, supporting contractors, and ensuring residents receive clear communication and a high standard of service. This is a fast‑paced role suited to someone who enjoys managing data, juggling priorities and working collaboratively.


Key Responsibilities



  • Log, update and manage repairs and voids using the Housing Management System (including SOR)

  • Act as a key point of contact for tenants, staff and contractors regarding repairs queries

  • Monitor job progress, failed access and completion, liaising with customers and contractors to resolve issues

  • Raise payment requests accurately and in line with procedures

  • Support performance monitoring and reporting for the Property Services team

  • Provide general administrative support, inbox management and customer correspondence

  • Take ownership of issues and support informal complaints through to resolution


What We're Looking For


Essential:



  • Experience in a customer-focused, administrative or property/housing environment

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft applications

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment

  • A proactive team player with high attention to detail and accountability


Experience working with repairs, void properties, contractors or housing systems (including SOR) is highly desirable.
