£25-30 per hour (umbrella rate, inside IR35)


Hybrid working (1-2 day per week in the office) - West Yorkshire


Contract until end of July 2025



Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to make a difference in a well-reputed organisation? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing a range of impactful projects.


What will you be doing?



  • Coordinate project plans for various programmes and projects as part of our annual business plans.

  • Support project leads and the Research Inclusion Committee in the setup and delivery of complex programmes and projects.

  • Influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and update reports using tools such as MS Project and Google Suite.

  • Provide training and support to team members involved in project work.

  • Manage project-related administration, including minute-taking, preparing agendas, and following up on action points.

  • Monitor project costs against budget and make recommendations to resolve issues.

  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring effective communication of priorities.

  • Organise workshops and stakeholder meetings, presenting project progress to senior stakeholders.



Required Skills



  • Experience: Proven experience in managing projects in a structured environment, ideally with a Project Management (Prince 2) qualification. Experience in the public sector or research setting is desirable.

  • Skills: Highly developed project management skills, strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

  • Qualifications: Prince 2 foundation qualification or equivalent experience. A post-graduate degree in a relevant area is desirable.

  • Behaviours: Self-motivated, innovative, effective team player, and able to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
