Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for hardware and software issues related to medical devices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems swiftly to minimise downtime.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that enhance workflow efficiency.

  • Perform regular system checks and maintenance on medical device hardware to ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Document all incidents, resolutions, and changes in the IT support system.

  • Assist in the training of staff on new technologies and systems.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT and healthcare.



Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd line IT support.

  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, particularly within the medical device sector.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical staff.

  • Experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable
