Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for hardware and software issues related to medical devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems swiftly to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that enhance workflow efficiency.
- Perform regular system checks and maintenance on medical device hardware to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and changes in the IT support system.
- Assist in the training of staff on new technologies and systems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IT and healthcare.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd line IT support.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, particularly within the medical device sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical staff.
- Experience in a healthcare environment is highly desirable
