Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Workday HRIS Analyst to join our client’s dynamic HR Systems team in Calgary. In this critical role, you’ll serve as the bridge between HR operations and technology — ensuring that the Workday platform is optimized, secure, and continuously improved to support evolving business needs.
You’ll leverage your strong Workday configuration expertise and analytical mindset to manage system releases, enhance processes, and provide exceptional user support — all while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday | 8 hours per day

Responsibilities:
Plan, test, and support system releases and maintenance window activities, including configuration reviews, user testing, and adoption initiatives.
Perform configuration and operational maintenance across multiple Workday modules such as HCM, Recruitment, Learning, Compensation, and Talent Management.
Provide day-to-day support to HR system users by troubleshooting issues, managing data corrections, and responding to inquiries.
Ensure data security and privacy compliance through effective management of role-based security, system monitoring, and understanding of confidentiality regulations.
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance HRIS processes and workflows for greater efficiency.
Participate in testing, data validation, and project initiatives to support system upgrades and business changes.
Maintain strong alignment with Enterprise Architecture and SOX compliance standards.
Participate in risk identification and control activities, ensuring zero unresolved findings.
Be available for after-hours support escalations during emergency situations
Qualifications:
Based in Calgary, AB (in-office role).
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant experience, including 4+ years in a Workday-focused systems analyst role.
Proven experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting multiple Workday modules.
Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear language for both technical and non-technical users.
Strong documentation habits for system configurations, testing, and business processes.
Familiarity with SOX compliance and IT audit protocols.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with HR and IT partners.
Awareness of HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn SAP to support Workday–SAP integration troubleshooting (e.g., master data and payroll interfaces)
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
