Warehouse/Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator for a full-time temporary contract based in Ottawa, ON. This opportunity is ideal for physically capable, detail-oriented individuals with warehouse experience who are comfortable working with inventory systems and material handling equipment.

As a Warehouse/Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading cylinders, maintaining stock levels, operating a forklift, and supporting order processing. Your work will directly contribute to safe warehouse operations and efficient inventory management.

• Salary: $22–$23 per hour

• Location: Ottawa, ON

• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cylinders from delivery trucks using appropriate carts

• Maintain and monitor cylinder stock levels

• Order cylinders from filling plants as required

• Process orders accurately using internal systems

• Operate a forklift to move materials safely within the warehouse

• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

• Handle cylinder inventory and ensure proper storage

• Perform computer-based inventory tracking and updates

• Assist with incoming and outgoing shipments

• Support daily warehouse operations and logistics coordination

• Maintain a tidy and safe working environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Forklift experience required

• Strong computer skills for order processing and inventory tracking

• Good physical condition with ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to safely load and unload heavy materials

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
