Adecco is currently hiring several temporary full-time Warehouse Associate to work for our client in Winnipeg, MB. In this role you will be working with RF scanning machines and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs and be able to read small numbers and comfortable with heights.   • Pay rate: $15.80/hour

  • Location: Winnipeg, MB

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Marks pallets with identifying store information

  • Pick and stage parts for store replenishment

  • Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)

  • Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency

  • Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear,

  • Is frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch or stoop,

  • Is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and

  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack

  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Bending/Stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve product

  • Standing/walking for extended periods of time

  • The noise level in the work environment may be high at times

  • Experience using RF scanner

  • Must speak fluent English.

  • Must be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment.

  • Experience with lift equipment (manual pallet jack for Worldpac or Forklift) is and asset

  • 1+ year of experience with lift machines is preferred

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
