Warehouse Associate
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our client’s team in Grande Prairie, AB. In this role you will be part of a diverse team comprised of inventory planners, master data, asset recovery, pipe desk, warehouse & laydown yard specialists and coordinators to provide enabling services to our customers that is collaborative, effective, efficient, reliable, visible & accurate, accountable, compliant, and above all else, safe. In this role is also accountable to deliver business performance through others by encouraging opportunity and innovation while fostering organizational health and engagement.

Responsibilities:
Supporting annual and long-term strategic planning and budgeting objectives to secure supply of inventoried goods across the enterprise ensuring operational continuity and managing the associated risks;
Ensuring the transporting, handling, storing and/or stocking goods at operations warehouses and laydown yards is conducted in strict accordance with regulatory requirements and approved Cenovus channels;
Ensure assets are disposed of in an appropriate, fair manner that maximizes value to Cenovus.
Ensure accurate inventory management via yearly cycle counts
Contribute to the assessment & prioritization of enterprise-wide requirements specific to developing inventory and category and complex transportation strategies
Balance enterprise-wide requirements and SCM resources ensuring SCMs ability to deliver
Support annual & long-term business plans, goals, priorities, work plans, timelines and budgets for portfolio
Support and advocate the utilization of surplus materials including transfer, repair and disposition
Ensure the accurate capture of master data elements as it is applied to inventory to reduce working capital, maximize reuse/realize surplus sales and optimize materials management
Ensure inventory strategies are managed to effectively balance the working capital and fulfill business requirements just in time wherever practicable
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Minimum Grade 12 education
Physically fit, ability to lift 50lbs
2-5 years of experience in a Warehouse function
Strong attention to detail
Customer focused
Safety focused
Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with co-workers and customers
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Previous experience operating loading and lifting equipment safely
Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license
Experience working with pipes, valves, fittings and associated paperwork (MTRs).
Able to function within an Enterprise Resource Planning system (i.e. Maximo, JDE, SAP)
