Adecco is currently recruiting a Project Coordinator for a leading construction firm delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Canada and the United States. This full-time role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in construction project administration, documentation, and change management, who is comfortable traveling to sites in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario.   • Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 plus travel compensation

  • Location: Surrey, BC (Travel to sites in Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario)

  • Job Type: Full-Time

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Project Administration: Handle RFIs, shop drawings, schedule and budget updates, cost control monitoring, and documentation of meetings and deliverables. Support successful project execution according to contract and quality requirements.

  • Schedule & Budget Management: Update project schedules and budgets, identify potential issues, provide progress reports, and review subcontract invoices against progress claims.

  • Safety & Compliance: Assist in developing project-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.

  • Change Management & Documentation: Monitor change processes, track change notices, manage drawings, revisions, site instructions, and maintain accurate as-built records. Advise on scope variations or budget changes as required.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary contact between consultants, trades, and site superintendent; facilitate communication and ensure projects meet contract and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in construction or a combination of education and experience.

  • Diploma, certificate, or degree in Building Technology, Project Management, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of construction standards, methods, plans, assemblies, regulations, and codes.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents accurately.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Emotional intelligence with a strong ability to build and foster professional relationships.

  • Comfortable balancing tactical and strategic responsibilities in a growing organization.
