Transportation Operations Coordinator – Pharma Specialist

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail‑oriented and compliance‑focused Transportation Operations Coordinator – Pharma Specialist to manage end‑to‑end healthcare logistics operations for our client in Mississauga, ON. In this role, you will ensure all transportation activities meet client requirements, Health Canada regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and internal QSHE standards. You will coordinate carriers, monitor shipments, maintain documentation accuracy, and support continuous process compliance within a regulated environment.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Location: Mississauga, ON
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities:
Transportation & Shipment Coordination
Ensure all transportation moves meet client requirements and comply with Health Canada, GMP, and QSHE standards.
Manage shipment routing and select optimal shipping modes based on transit time and temperature requirements.
Coordinate and monitor carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
Confirm shipments and ensure all deliveries occur within agreed transit requirements; provide PODs when needed.
Manage shipment discrepancies, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Compliance & Documentation
Follow all GxP guidelines, Work Instructions (WI), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain and update WI and SOP documentation for account processes.
Ensure subcontractors comply with all GxP and regulatory requirements.
Report and document deviations according to compliance standards.
Systems, Data & Billing
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
Process client billing accurately and on time.
Verify and process carrier payments promptly and correctly.
Maintain high‑quality data for KPIs; support data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Support flexible work coverage and perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Hands‑on experience with OTM (Oracle Transportation Management)—required.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
Knowledge of cold chain, CRT (Controlled Room Temperature), hazardous materials, or controlled substance logistics (asset).
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Ability to perform in fast‑paced, time‑sensitive transportation environments.
Excellent problem‑solving, prioritization, and analytical skills.
High attention to detail with strong commitment to compliance and accuracy.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
