Technical Sales Representative

Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Technical Sales Representative for our client in Ottawa, ON.

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be promoting and selling wireless sensor solutions to customers within North America. This role includes managing the entire sales process, from developing solutions and preparing contracts to providing ongoing customer support. You will play a key part in maintaining client satisfaction, identifying new opportunities, and driving business growth.

• Salary: $75,000 – $110,000/year

• Location: Ottawa, ON

• Shifts: Monday – Friday

• Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Advise customers on product selection via phone, email, and in-person meetings

• Nurture existing client relationships and prospect for new accounts

• Provide technical support in an industrial retail environment

• Develop product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends

• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs

• Create financial justifications, prepare proposals, and close sales

• Ensure customer satisfaction through post-installation follow-ups

• Identify and secure upgrades and upselling opportunities

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering (required)

• Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the IoT or industrial sector

• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills

• Highly self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

• Technical knowledge and industry experience preferred

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
