Adecco is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will play a key role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across multiple functions for our client. This role involves full-cycle recruitment, proactive sourcing strategies, and strong collaboration with hiring managers to ensure the right candidates are brought in to support business growth.
**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
Pay rate: $28/hour.
Location: Ajax, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Proactively source and qualify candidates through social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram), database mining, job boards, and other creative channels to identify top talent, including passive candidates.
Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers to define candidate requirements and ensure clear expectations throughout the hiring process.
Create and post job postings across all platforms, develop interview questions aligned with position requirements, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
Organize and attend job fairs, career events, and educational partnerships to strengthen candidate pipelines and promote the company brand.
Conduct interviews, reference checks, and negotiate offers in collaboration with management; maintain accurate recruitment documentation and reporting.
Administer employee referral programs, onboarding processes, and orientation for new hires.
Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), social media, and market intelligence to identify, track, and engage talent effectively.
Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring professional and timely communication.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, sourcing diverse talent, and conducting robust interviews.
Strong proficiency in LinkedIn Talent Solutions, ATS (TalentSoft an asset), and other recruitment technologies.
Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
Experience in HR or additional HR functions considered an asset.
Education: University degree in a related discipline; CHRP designation is an asset.
Strong knowledge of government employment legislation, MS Office, and data-driven decision-making in recruitment.
