Survey Crew Chief - Construction/Municipal
Adecco is actively seeking experienced Survey Crew Chiefs to join our client’s team in the Construction and Municipal surveying field. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $80,000 per annum and will require the individual to lead survey crews for construction, industrial, and municipal projects. There is 1 position available in each of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to survey assistants in various field conditions.
Perform legal surveys for subdivisions, condominiums, development permit applications, and real property reports. Also responsible for the construction survey layout of building foundations, facilities, piles, grading, and other related tasks.
Work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
Maintain relationships with clients and act as a point of contact for any concerns or queries.
Prepare accurate field notes, records, and calculations, ensuring precision and clarity.
Willing to travel out of town for extended periods when necessary.
Follow and enforce safety protocols in the field.
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
A diploma or degree in Geomatics from a recognized technical college.
Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Survey Crew Chief.
Experience performing precise layout and control surveys.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to liaise with clients effectively.
A focus on building strong internal and external relationships.
