Store Manager

Adecco is actively seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our client’s Fort St. John location. In this full-time role, you will oversee operations, manage a unionized team, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer experiences. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with a proven track record in retail or operations management who thrives on achieving results and developing their team.

• Pay Rate: Up to $55k/year.

• Location: Fort St. John, BC

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, manage P&L performance, and lead a unionized team with integrity and efficiency.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets through coaching, motivating staff, and executing operational initiatives.

• Hire, train, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

• Maintain compliance with HSSE standards and promote a safe work environment.

• Identify operational gaps, implement improvements, and execute business plans in partnership with your Territory Manager.

• Work closely with marketing and operations teams to implement retail strategies and promotions.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• 3–5+ years in retail or operations management; gas station or similar experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

• Proven ability to manage priorities, meet targets, and improve site performance

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Results-driven and proactive

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences
