Site Supervisor - Residential Construction

Adecco is actively seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage and oversee the construction of single-family homes. This role, based in Calgary, AB, offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $140,000 per year and is a full-time, permanent position. Responsibilities:  

• Schedule the delivery and installation of materials and labor, ensuring timely project execution.

• Inspect all work to ensure it meets our client’s high standards and complies with relevant building and safety codes.

• Interpret plans and specifications, identify any discrepancies or errors, and communicate these to the project management team.

• Supervise, coach, and guide on-site team members to ensure clear direction and safe work practices.

• Lead site safety orientations, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure adherence to all safety legislation.

• Meet with homeowners prior to possession to inspect homes and address any questions or concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Maintain project schedules, track progress, and provide updates to the project management team regularly.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a site superintendent in the residential construction industry.

• Knowledge of building codes and construction requirements.

• High School Diploma, or equivalent.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel) and construction management software (e.g., BuildPro, NewStar).

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

• Ability to perform physical tasks as required on-site.

• Satisfactory criminal record check.

• Experience with homeowner walk-throughs and key releases is an asset.
