Adecco, in partnership with our client, one of Calgary’s fastest growing developers, is currently hiring a full-time experienced Construction Site Supervisor to lead on‑site operations for mid‑rise and high‑rise multi‑family concrete projects. You should be safety‑focused, highly organized, and skilled at coordinating teams, schedules, and project milestones. This role oversees daily construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to high‑quality standards.

  • Pay Rate: $150K-$170K base plus bonus and Vehicle Allowance and benefits. 

  • Location: Calgary, AB

  • Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Site Management & Coordination

  • Oversee all aspects of on‑site activity, including safety, cost control, quality standards, record keeping, and project scheduling.

  • Direct and coordinate the workforce, equipment, materials, and trade contractors to ensure all work meets project specifications and construction plans.

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, trade partners, consultants, inspectors, and regulatory bodies to execute project plans accurately and efficiently.

  • Assist Project Managers in developing project schedules, phasing plans, and construction sequencing.

Schedule Leadership & Productivity

  • Monitor upcoming project needs, establish weekly objectives for site teams and subcontractors, and take corrective action to keep the project on track.

  • Ensure key project milestones are achieved through proactive planning and coordination.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed daily site logs, including equipment rentals, trade manpower, site conditions, and issues.

  • Manage and organize project documentation such as photographs, as‑built drawings, site instructions, timesheets, and purchase orders.

  • Support review and clarification of trade contractor bids, including scope, pricing, and scheduling.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce all health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with legislation and company policies.

  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure full compliance for all workers and site visitors.

Stakeholder Relationships

  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal teams.

  • Foster a collaborative and respectful environment on site.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma required.

  • Trades or Journeyperson certification is an asset.

  • Engineering degree is considered an advantage.

  • Minimum 5 years of on‑site experience managing mid‑rise or high‑rise concrete multi‑family construction projects from start to finish.

  • Strong understanding of Alberta building codes, safety codes, and workplace safety regulations.

  • Basic computer literacy (email, MS Word, document control platforms).

  • Working knowledge of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems is an asset.

  • Experience managing budgets and purchasing is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to lead site personnel with professionalism and clear communication.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and travel to job sites or company meetings as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

  • Physically demanding role requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk extensively, and perform tasks that may involve climbing.

  • Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and proactive problem‑solving abilities.

  • Effective leadership and team‑supervision skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to adapt to fast‑paced, changing environments while managing multiple tasks.

  • Quick learner with strong analytical thinking skills.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
