Site Superintendent
Adecco is actively seeking a Site Superintendent to join our client’s team for a full-time position based in Winnipeg, MB. In this role, you’ll lead on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to high-quality standards. You’ll manage crews, coordinate trades, enforce safety protocols, and work closely with project stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly. - Promoting and upholding a strong culture of health and safety on the job site.
- Managing day-to-day operations of commercial construction sites including setup, logistics, and coordination.
- Leading site team members through regular coaching, mentorship, and feedback.
- Reviewing construction documents and identifying constructability issues.
- Ensuring quality control, job site cleanliness, and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinating and managing all trades, materials, inspections, and commissioning.
- Attending key meetings including pre-construction, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Developing and tracking look-ahead schedules to maintain project momentum.
- Managing all site documentation including safety reports, timecards, and project photos.
- Leading deficiency management plans and overseeing site demobilization.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- 5+ years of construction management experience.
- 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- A strong understanding of CCDC contracts, construction drawings, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with Procore and other construction management software (asset).
- Experience in healthcare, institutional, or government projects (asset).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and teams.
- Certifications in First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and demonstrated advanced knowledge of safety regulations.
