SHOWROOM RECEPTIONIST job opening in Toronto, ON

Adecco Professional has partnered with a high-end design firm to assist with an full-time, temporary opportunity for a Showroom Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON. The Showroom Receptionist will be working Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm and Saturday 8:30am - 5pm with flexibility to adjust as needed to help with events in the evenings and for approximately 3 months with potential to extend.  We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, polished professional to join a high-end, creative, design setting; fantastic opportunity for those from the restaurant / hotel / hospitality industry. This dynamic, flexible self-starter must be passionate about providing best-in-class guest experience through their positive and flexible approach and attitude.

Some of the responsibilities for the Showroom Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to:

  • First impression of the showroom, meet and greet in an engaging manner

  • Answer calls in a professional and attentive manner; transferring calls and taking messages where needed; general customer service included

  • Responsible for the opening of the showroom (lights, alarms, café set up, making coffee, meeting room set up and more)

  • Provide exceptional customer service and a VIP experience for their scheduled guests and any potential walk-ins

  • Assist with scheduling of internal and client meetings

  • Set up and tear down of in-showroom meetings such as ordering catering, making/putting together name tags, taking coats, making and offering beverages, etc

  • Ensure catering, beverage and food inventory is fresh and ordered in advance

  • Ensure the appearance of the showroom and all meeting areas are always neat, tidy and showcased with a first class presentation

  • Administrative reports, updating lists, etc - strong typing/data entry

  • Additional responsibilities as needed.

Some of the requirements for the Showroom Receptionist job opening in Toronto, ON include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience in front-line customer service, marketing or sales; hospitality, hotel, restaurant, lounge or showroom experience a strong asset

  • Completed post-secondary education in business, hospitality or a related field.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate to a diverse group of people in various roles

  • A self-starter, you are resourceful and a multi-tasker while still being flexible and adaptable to change; able to work independently and without constant management

  • High-level attention to detail – hypersensitive to detail to be specific; best in class presentation

  • Ability to work in a polished, front facing hostess/host type position with a ‘no job too small or large’ attitude; keen and flexible
