Shipping Logistics Coordinator

Adecco is seeking a Warehouse Support Associate for a globally-known company in Ottawa, ON.

As a Warehouse Support Associate, you will be responsible for the accurate picking and packing of all orders, as well as receiving, storage & distribution of inbound materials.

• Salary: $20.00/hour

• Location: Ottawa, ON

• Shifts: Monday – Friday

• Job type: Full-time | Temporary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing in a warehouse environment

• Physical receiving and delivery of materials/products to the proper department

• Multi-Tasking in a fast paced environment

• Performing all duties with the utmost attention to detail

• Supporting the management of the shipping and receiving work space, organizing received goods, moving skids of material ith appropriate tools and equipment and may lift boxes and items up to 23kg (50lbs)

• Tracking and reporting shipment status to internal and external customers.

• Other duties deemed appropriate for Warehouse Support.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School diploma

• Post secondary logistics, supply chain management courses or equivalent combination of relevant job experience and training an asset.

• Prior experience in a warehouse and/or logistics type position an asset

• Detail oriented

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Good communication skills and confidence in highlighting quality issues.

• Strong organizational skills required
