Service Technician and Production Support
Adecco is currently seeking a dedicated Service Technician & Production Support professional to join our clients team for a temporary position based in Brockville, ON. This hybrid role involves both production tasks and field service responsibilities related to automated dispensing systems.

Responsibilities:
Production:
Follow safe practices and quality standards while adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Assemble and manufacture systems and assemblies as per engineering drawings.
Conduct testing of final products and subassemblies for functionality and quality.
Troubleshoot equipment and product issues as they arise.
Work collaboratively with team members while also being able to work independently.
Prepare systems for domestic and international shipment.
Maintain an organized work area and assist in picking parts as needed.
Field Service:
Install automated dispensing and batching systems at customer facilities following engineering specifications.
Perform diagnostic analysis, repair, and preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
Train end-users on system operation and maintenance best practices.
Provide detailed reports to the production manager and technical support teams.
Manage service meetings and communications with applicable departments.
Deliver exceptional customer service, representing the client as an industry leader.
Conduct onsite audits and evaluations, providing recommendations to account managers.
Requirements:
Legally eligible to work in Canada, with a valid passport for domestic and international travel.
Willing to work outside of regular hours as needed.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.
Strong mechanical aptitude, comfortable using hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficient in reading technical drawings and using Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
Familiarity with electro-pneumatics or fluid dynamics is an advantage.
Must be bondable.
