Service Technical Specialist

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Service Technical Specialist for their facility in NW Mississauga, ON.  This position supports service teams by providing technical and service-related assistance to customers by maximizing case management utilization. Experience – Service Technical Specialist 

• 5+ years experience in vehicle diagnostics, as well as a good understanding of vehicle components including advanced diesel engines

• Willing and able to learn new technologies, shop/case management related platforms

• Licensed Automotive Technician is a strong asset.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point

• Ability to work accurately and pay close attention to details despite frequent interruptions

• Strong management skills

• Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment

• Strong customer service orientation 

Responsibilities – Service Technical Specialist 

• Monitor and assist service activities through connected vehicle platforms

• Extend the use of case management to reduce downtime by providing proactive support

• Liaison with teams for the operation and functional improvements of case management

• Provide technical assistance to dealer service through email and phone

• Provide technical assistance to parts and sales departments

• Support service training activities

• Assist the warranty department in the claim adjudication process

• Increase customer loyalty by implementing maintenance reminders

• Support service activities and dealer events

• Promptly handle general service tasks, and coordinate general customer inquiries
