Adecco is actively seeking a Service Manager to join our client’s team to lead operations in their Delta, BC branch. This is a full-time leadership role offering a competitive salary range of $105,000 – $130,000, based on experience. As a key leader in the organization, you will oversee service department operations, manage a talented team, and ensure top-tier service for clients and partners.

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, both in-shop and in-field

  • Manage scheduling, departmental planning, tools/equipment upkeep, and resource allocation

  • Lead and develop the service team through coaching, performance reviews, and training

  • Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to resolve technical issues and enhance service quality

  • Monitor service performance, troubleshoot problem work orders, and ensure accurate invoicing

  • Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and departmental profit targets

  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to align service delivery with strategic goals

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • A valid Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate

  • 5+ years of practical experience working with heavy equipment

  • Experience with John Deere or Kubota equipment is a strong asset

  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot engines, generators, and control systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • A leadership mindset with the ability to train, coach, and support team growth

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer relationships

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
