About the Role


The Senior UX Strategist will work on key initiatives within the Business & Platforms portfolio, helping to inform future visions and long-term strategies. You will partner with product, marketing and sales to develop intentional and measurable journeys and experiences that drive the organization forward.

  • Lead large-scale UX discovery projects 

  • Work with project sponsors to define key objectives

  • Conduct exploratory research using appropriate formats and methodology

  • Review evidence and analyze data to substantiate and validate hypotheses

  • Translate findings into actionable insights and learnings

  • Act as the conduit between organizational and business needs

  • Make strategic and user-centred recommendations

  • Drive alignment and buy-in across multiple business units

  • Facilitate the development of project roadmaps and backlogs

  • Create and maintain key UX artefacts

This is a hybrid role and is open to candidates based in Toronto or Ottawa, able to commute to an office location twice per week.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience across UX research, design and strategy

  • Impressive knowledge of design principles and research methodologies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, storytelling and facilitation skills

  • Relationship building & stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams

  • Experience working in nuanced and complex environments

  • Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation


Desirable

  • Knowledge of the media & marketing landscape

  • Broad understanding of APIs and their use cases

  • Experience working with B2B audiences


About You

  • College or University degree in design, research or a related discipline.

  • Relevant experience and education in lieu of a degree is also acceptable.

  • 7+ years of experience in one or more UX disciplines.

  • 3+ years of experience with strategic responsibilities.

  • Self-motivated and organized with a strong attention to detail.
