Adecco is actively seeking a Senior Municipal Project Manager – Roads to join our client’s team in Kitchener, ON. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $140,000–$150,000 CAD and the opportunity to lead complex municipal road projects from start to finish.
You’ll oversee project planning, budgeting, execution, and client relations, while mentoring a multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for a P.Eng. or C.E.T. with 10+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality public works.

Responsibilities:  
  • Direct municipal road projects from planning to completion.
  • Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the main point of contact; manage client expectations and approvals.
  • Identify new opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Lead technical reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Uphold quality management systems and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Review construction documents and manage project closeouts.
  • Coordinate and oversee subconsultant contributions.
  • Mentor staff, support hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Stay updated on regulations and develop internal policies.
  • Monitor project financials and ensure budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Implement procedures to enhance project and team efficiency.
Requirements:  
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • P.Eng. or C.E.T. designation in Ontario (PMP is an asset).
  • 10+ years of experience in municipal project management.
  • Expertise in roadway design, stormwater management, and environmental assessments.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.
