Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Drafter to join our client’s growing engineering team in Vancouver, BC. You will play a key role in producing high-quality electrical, instrumentation, and control (EIC) design drawings for building and industrial infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical drafting skills, a solid understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate: up to $100,000.00/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) engineers to develop and refine design and drafting deliverables.
Perform interdisciplinary coordination of Revit models to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
Apply and maintain client standards while preparing drawings and managing the drawing register.
Take a proactive role in the design process, contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
Mentor and lead a small team of junior drafters, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
Coordinate and review design work completed by international support teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Continuously develop technical skills and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects in compliance with client expectations and industry best practices.
Ensure that design solutions meet the needs of private, municipal, provincial, and federal clients.
Perform other related duties as required to support project and team objectives.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma in Electrical Drafting, Electrical Technology, or a related technical discipline from a recognized college or technical institute.
5 to 15 years of experience in electrical design drafting for buildings and industrial infrastructure, including systems such as power distribution, lighting, automation, controls, life safety, and communications.
Proficient in AutoCAD with advanced knowledge; familiarity with Script and Lisp programming is considered an asset.
Strong expertise in Revit and experience working within a BIM 360 environment.
Proven ability to work independently, delivering accurate and detailed designs within established timelines.
Skilled in interpreting 2D and 3D drawings and models to support engineering analysis and problem-solving.
Familiarity with Metro Vancouver project standards is a definite asset.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and technical precision
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
