Adecco is currently seeking a Senior Customs and Trade Compliance Analyst for a permanent opportunity based onsite in Ottawa, Ontario.

Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually
Bonus: 7.5% annual salary bonus

Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with all corporate, divisional, and regulatory requirements
Serve as the subject matter expert for U.S. import and export regulations
Lead customs and trade compliance initiatives at the site and divisional level
Respond to Customs Broker Requests for Information accurately and on time
Collaborate with logistics, purchasing, and materials management teams on customs matters
Deliver targeted compliance training to internal stakeholders
Support corrective actions resulting from corporate customs and trade compliance assessments
Ensure accurate classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determination for all imports
Liaise with affiliates and third-party suppliers to ensure compliant import documentation
Analyze import/export data to identify compliance risks and cost-saving opportunities
Provide analytical support for CBP Requests for Information, Post-Entry Amendments, and Prior Disclosures
Support reconciliation reporting related to price adjustments, royalties, and financial elements
Conduct Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility assessments to optimize duty savings
Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
5–6+ years of experience in import/export operations, international trade, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related discipline
Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) preferred
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
