Our client is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to work in their busy, fast paced environment - this is in professional services consulting arena; legal. The Senior Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing support to a team of busy leaders ensuring the related administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently for the various projects at hand. The work of the Administrative Assistant will involve maintaining the confidentiality of information, displaying a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and working well under pressure. Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will require hybrid work arrangement downtown Toronto (core).

Some of the responsibilities for the Senior Administrative Assistant job opening in Toronto, ON may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative assistance to a team of professionals across Canada while working as a member of the administrative team

  • Scheduling and calendar management

  • Organize and attend meetings including all related logistics

  • Reports, presentations, and document editing and creations; this includes proofreading and editing

  • Invoice support and project budget tracking

  • Expense reporting and processing

  • Reconciling of reports and documents to ensure updated information is at hand

  • Be able to change priorities and gears quickly while being a full team player to support and work with other departments/staff

  • Perform other administrative as assigned and supporting the Office Manager and other team members as needed.


To be considered for the Senior Administrative Assistant job opening in Toronto, ON, the selected incumbent will meet the following minimum criteria:

  • 3+ year of direct senior level Administrative Assistant experience ideally from the legal or consulting arena

  • Completed post-secondary education

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Advanced strengths in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; CRM experience required

  • High level organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong prioritization, ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple demands while being able to adjust to changing priorities

  • Decision making and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible, team player with a can-do attitude

  • High level of discretion with confidential matters
