Scrum Master

Adecco is currently seeking a Scrum Master for a full-time opportunity based in the GTA or Ottawa. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with proven experience leading Agile teams on complex digital or platform initiatives, who thrives in a fast-paced, R&D-style environment.

As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, support sprint execution, remove delivery impediments, and coach teams on Agile practices. You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams, Product Owners, and senior leadership to ensure timely delivery of MVPs and iterative releases, while tracking risks, dependencies, and sprint metrics.

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent/Contract (negotiable based on candidate)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (standard business hours)

• Location: GTA, ON or Ottawa, ON

• Pay Rate: $90 – $100/hour T4 (negotiable) | $100 – $110/hour IC (negotiable)

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

• Support sprint execution for time-boxed MVP and iterative releases

• Remove delivery impediments and coordinate across technical and data workstreams

• Support backlog refinement in collaboration with the Product Owner

• Track sprint metrics, risks, and dependencies

• Support executive and senior leader demos and reviews

• Coach the team on Agile practices in a fast-moving, R&D-style environment

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master on complex digital or platform initiatives

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery practices

• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams (developers, architects, data)

• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience using Agile delivery tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)

• Experience supporting AI, data, or platform modernization initiatives

• Familiarity with hybrid Agile delivery and MVP-driven programs

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
