Sanitation and Facilities Maintenance Associate

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation and Facilities Maintenance Associates to join our client’s operations team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with HACCP and company standards. You’ll be responsible for cleaning duties, equipment upkeep, and ensuring all areas of the warehouse and kitchen facilities are hygienic and well-maintained.

• Pay Rate: $18.50/hour

• Location: Balzac, AB

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and appearance of the kitchens/warehouse, equipment, and surrounding properties in accordance with HACCP standards.

• Sweeping, scrubbing floors, and emptying garbage

• Prepare and bale corrugated cardboard and plastic pallet wrap for recycling return.

• Adhere and implement all applicable company safety standards.

• Maintain MSDS Catalogues as required.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements.

• All other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous power jack or warehouse experience is an asset.

• Ability to work at a consistent pace throughout the day. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Highly motivated and team oriented.

• Works in a Safe and responsible manner 

• Ability to work in a cool environment for prolonged periods (4 to 6 degrees Celsius).

• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 40 pounds.

• Occasional standing, frequent walking.

• Constant reaching below shoulder level

• Occasional reaching above shoulder level

• Frequent use of floor sweepers and scrubbers

• Frequent bending and occasional twisting

• Frequent walking, squatting

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
