Sales Representative - Transportation

Adecco in partnership with our client are currently hiring a permanent full-time Sales Representative – Transportation in Brampton, ON. Our client is a leader in the transportation industry. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in the tire and/or transportation industry. This role requires previous sales experience and valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.

• Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions.

• Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential customers.

• Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.

• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

• Achieves defined sales quotas.

• Present solutions in a professional, concise, and comprehensive manner

• Manage ongoing customer relations

• Quote prices and prepare sales contracts

• Embrace product knowledge training and pass on this information to customers and prospects

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

• Previous sales experience required

• Ideally have commercial transportation industry experience

• Demonstrate strong organizational skills

• Comprehensive computer skills or ability & willingness to learn an apply

• Investigate and resolve customer needs and opportunities.

• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

• Possess positive attitude and a team player.
