Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly organized and detail‑oriented Maintenance Planner – Repair & Overhaul (MRO) to coordinate daily and long‑range planning activities within our Repair & Overhaul shop. This role ensures efficient workflow, optimized scheduling, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within the R&O environment.

You should bring strong SAP experience, excellent planning and scheduling capabilities, and knowledge of aviation regulations and technical documentation. This position plays a key role in reducing turnaround time (TAT), improving process flow, and ensuring on‑time delivery to customers.

**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

  • Pay Rate: $30/hr - $33/hr

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Schedule: 7:30 am to 4 pm (M-T) 7 am to 12 pm (Friday)

Responsibilities:        

Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly work plans for all R&O activities.

  • Create finite schedules across all work centers to optimize productivity and minimize delays.

  • Revise schedules proactively to accommodate unforeseen changes in priorities, resources, or materials.

  • Monitor material availability and recommend adjustments to maintain workflow continuity.

Work Order & Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate work orders and oversee work order management throughout the job cycle.

  • Conduct inventory analysis and support achievement of inventory target levels.

  • Assist with SAP issues related to the MRO team and ensure accurate data entry and utilization.

Process Optimization & Operational Support

  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce turnaround time and operational costs.

  • Support compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

  • Populate and maintain visual management boards, including daily and weekly production targets.

  • Lead or support daily start‑of‑shift meetings to review priorities and performance metrics.

  • Manage DLF (Direct Labor Forecasting/Loading) within the MRO shop.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work cross-functionally with the Planning Manager, operations teams, and R&O staff.

  • Provide clear and timely communication to ensure alignment across departments.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma or University Business Degree required.

  • CAPICS certification with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

  • Excellent SAP working knowledge (required).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.

  • Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), technical drawings, and related documentation (asset).

  • Familiarity with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) pertaining to airworthiness (asset).

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.

  • Superior organizational, time‑management, and communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
